Have you ever wondered if you can restore Linux Windows-like way?

Well, after some (Enough) reinstalls OS, Ubuntu, Mint Waldorf and I asked myself and researching the net, I found that there is a free software program that offers an interesting alternative, the program is Clonezilla which allows us to partition image root (/) where the operating system and thus, if the need arises, quickly return to a previous stable point.

Clonezilla works from a LiveCD (ISO file) or usb-stick (zip file), from which the computer starts. Make the image and restore it takes much less time than a full reinstall the system and favorite programs you have on your PC.

The use is not very complicated and there are tutorials on the net for that. A major steps:

To take a picture, just after starting the steps presented in the interface is very intuitive continue, such as choice of language and keyboard settings in the welcome screen. Later, in graphical mode, choose the partition to be performed on image, destination, mode, image name, etc.

To restore an image, simply choose the RESTOREPARTS option and then choose the image and the partition where the restoration is performed.

To download the ISO image Clonezilla go to this link and follow the steps:
