The hard reset is the method of choice when the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 no longer invites Android operating system. This can have various causes, such as a faulty SystemApp. If you can not launch the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, only the Hard Reset is, to which the Android operating system can be set up again. Disadvantage: It will erase all data on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4!

In order to perform the hard reset, the phone must be switched off completely. In order to start the hard reset, press the following keys simultaneously:

- Volume "Volume Down"

- Home button

- Power On / Off button

This key combination you have to hold until the Boot Loader is started. If this appears on the screen of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, you must now navigate through the volume buttons to select "Wipe Date / Factory Reset". Please note: Using the volume up button, scroll up, with the volume down button to scroll down. To select the entry, press again the power on / off button, which corresponds to the boot loader of the Enter key.

Once you have selected the entry "Wipe Date / Factory Reset", you confirm the prompt "Delete all User Data" to "Yes". Now automatically becomes your Samsung Galaxy Note 4 to factory settings. This process can take a few minutes. Then the phone will restart and you will find before an Android operating system, which corresponds to the state at the factory. This should work without any problems.
