Is it worth upgrading to iOS 9 Beta on iPhone and iPad?

This is my experience after testing the first beta of iOS 9 more than 24 hours
Just two days that Apple introduced iOS 9, the next generation of its operating system for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch ago. Although officially not available to all users until autumn, at the moment it is possible to install the iOS Beta 1 9 without being developer to test first hand all the new features of this new version. Now, it's worth taking the bother to upgrade to Beta 1? What is so unstable?

I could try the first beta of iOS 9 during more than a day and I think I am in a position to draw some clear conclusions and to recommend with all sincerity if it's worth upgrading your devices. There goes my first advice: if it is your primary work device would not update to iOS9

As its name suggests, we have a beta, the first version no less, so the experience is anything but smooth. Accustomed to iOS 8, each time I used the keyboard to send any message watched in despair as the keys remained nailed the emojis pierced your keyboard to overlap above the letters, among other niceties.

The application performance varies greatly depending on each app. For example, WhatsApp responds well to being a beta, but Telegram closes automatically when you write a message that is longer than one line. Yes, it is closed and you can not do anything, so long as we kinda monosyllabic conversations I had with my friends in recent days.

It is fluid, some applications give problems and the novelty is rather scarce
Okay, but what what about the news? It is true that iOS 9 includes an interesting list of new features, but honestly feel I've had is that the novelty effect on this generation is rather small. The change of typography is subtle and remarkable, but really had no problem with Helvetica Neue, and I reaffirm it again after returning to iOS8 .

Another novelty that I could try are the suggestions of Siri, the new interface that shows you shortcuts to your most used applications or contextual information that may be useful. Honestly, though perhaps it can be attributed to the short time I was with the beta, and therefore Siri did not have time to assimilate more deeply and "intelligent" my usage habits, this feature did not seem like anything special. Yes, I have shortcuts to frequently used apps, which would be the equivalent of having a menu with those recently used, but often took the same time opening the app directly than going to display suggestions.

Ultimately, and after more than 24 hours with IOS 9 Beta 1 installed on my iPhone 5s, I decided to go back to iOS 8.3. That is another, although the downgrade process is relatively simple (here we explain how), recover the backup IOS IOS 9 8 is a somewhat tedious process. So for the moment I do not recommend installing the beta if you do not feel the urgent need to test the new features of the new version, maybe when I get public beta in July things change.

What is your experience with iOS9?
