If your iTunes on your PC or MAC, the iTunes software used in order to secure your data in a backup, then you would like to know under certain circumstances, in which path these backups are stored. This is especially important if you want to move, for example, to a USB stick or burn them to a DVD backups.

We tell you here in a nutshell where iTunes copies the backups from your iPhone and iPad data back.

The file path for Windows is:

C: / Users / your name # # / AppData / Roaming / Apple Computer / MobileSync / Backup

The file path on a Mac is:

~ / Library / Application Support / MobileSync / Backup

In these folders, the backup files are stored on your iPhone or iPad, which have been created with iTunes. These can now be copied or processed further.
