  • Check that in the Parental Control tab in Edit> Preferences that iTunes is unchecked.
  • This can happen when the end of the connection occurs while downloading purchased content from the iTunes Store.
  • Configure your anti-virus / firewall to allow the following domains to send and receive Internet data. - Itunes.apple.com - ax.itunes.apple.com
  • If you notice this error only occurs when you try to download videos: - Delete video files download cached and completely restart the download often solves the problem. - To find the video downloads cached: Navigate to the downloads folder on your system. This folder may be in different locations:
  • Mac: ~ / Music / iTunes / iTunes Music / DownloadsRemarque: the tilde "~" indicates your home folder.
  • Windows Vista: \ Users \ [username] \ Music \ iTunes \ iTunes Music \ Downloads \
  • Windows XP et Windows 2000 :\Documents and Settings\[nom d’utilisateur]\Mes documents\Ma musique\iTunes\iTunes Music\Downloads\
  • Locate the folder that contains the video cached file corresponding to this achat.- In Windows Vista, the folder name matches that of purchased video and file extension .tmp. - In Windows XP and Windows 2000, the folder name matches that of purchased video and the file has the extension .m4v.tmp.
  • Move the .tmp folder for the purchased video to the Trash.
  • Open iTunes.
  • Select Store> Search for available updates.
  • Enter your account name and password, then click the Search button.
