How to fix '' Unfortunately, the application has stopped '' - Beginners alert!

There is a problem that affects not only beginners but advanced both Android owners (the only difference is this generally know how to fix it): Sometimes, when you use an application, it will suddenly close and the message "Unfortunately, (fill in the blank) has stopped 'appear. This message also shows when you're not using the application. One way to solve this problem

Clarify the application storage
This problem often arises with contacts, gallery and application launcher, among many others. For example, I always get the error "Unfortunately contacts ceased" on my Galaxy S3 and it is especially bothersome. The procedure to solve this problem is usually always the same.

First, you must navigate to the settings of your Android smartphone.
Scroll down until you see the Application Manager or applications, the name differs Android device.
Swipe left until you find the "All" tab applications.
Scroll to the application that stopped and press it.
You will clear the data and cache.
What you must understand is that the compensation data clears changes to application settings, but not the actual content such as images in the application gallery for example. Cache cleaning will get rid of saved data that allow applications to load much faster when you run them. Deleting this will only slow down the opening of an application a bit, but also help solve the problem.

In addition to clearing the cache with the red arrow, you still want to delete the data, which clears all saved settings for the application in question.

Uninstall the application
If the application is an integrated application, such as contacts, for example, you can try to uninstall and reinstall the application again from Google Play Store. Just open the Play Store application and open the menu bar on the left side and tap 'My Apps'. Locate the application in question, and click Uninstall, which takes a few seconds. Atterwards, you can install it again.

Soft reset
You can also try to do a soft reset. This is super simple and very effective if your phone has been for a long time. A soft reset allows your phone power cycle, which means turning it off then on again. Of course, this will not delete anything. It is a good idea to turn off your phone every day for a few minutes and will allow a slow phone with a variety of issues, either app, network, audio, e-mail problems and more.

In the case of Google Play does not work itself, the solution is a bit larger: delete the cache at first and if that does not represent the record straight, you can erase your data, and finally uninstall updates day from Play Store. The same goes for Google Play services, but try one by one, you do not want to lose all your Play Store preferences without reason. Read the full tutorial on what to do when the Google Play Store does not.

Last resort: factory reset
In the worst case, when all else fails, you can use a factory reset, but again, it really should not be done until no other option presents itself. When you perform a factory reset, make sure that you have backed up all your data first. I repeat: a backup of all your data first. I'm serious. Do it. A factory reset will erase your device to factory settings, taking any bugs with it. You can then restore your applications and data afterwards.

Did this fix the problem for you? Other patches do you know those little Android pesky problems that you can share with your colleagues beginners?
