It depends on the company, there are some as Movistar you can hide your Caller ID, meaning that your number is not displayed when making a call, or some like Nextel you can pay a certain amount for your number displayed as private .
Also review your additional configuration in Call settings, or try it calling from a landline number, no cell, so maybe you the number appears on the ID.
