hello everyone,

I had the same problem as you, for several months that lasted ca.
I called orange replied that troubleshooting is a paid service because the problem was not them but the mail.
so I finally ended up finding the solution is this:

already go to the website of your mail (nine orange ...) to verify that the sending and hostels' reception from the portal works fine if that's the case, of course check your identiants and passwords.

If everything is good is that you have the following error message:
Sending the message test message: An unknown error occurred 0x80040607
then it is very simple, go to TOOLS -> SETTINGS ACCOUNT, double-click on your account then ADDITIONAL SETTINGS -> OUTGOING SERVER -> check USE THE SAME AS FOR MY SETTINGS INCOMING SERVER

re done the test and normally it will work !!!!

f your ISP blocks port 25 or if you're Unable to send email, Then You Will need to Log uses port 587 When sending via Yahoo! 'S SMTP server. To make this change, please follow the directions below:

1. From the "Tools" menu, select "Accounts"
2. Select your Yahoo! POP account and click on the "Properties" button
3. Click on the "Advanced" tab
4. Next to "Outgoing server (SMTP) port changes 25 to 587
5. Click "Apply" Then click "OK" and "Close"
