Depending on the manufacturer of the computer or motherboard, BIOS of a PC can be an update that you can apply. A computer BIOS, or Basic Input / Output System, are typically stored on a flash memory chip located on the motherboard. When the BIOS, known as "BIOS" because the process replaces the contents of the memory on the chip is updated. Go to your computer manufacturer or the website of the parent company and find software / drivers refresh the page to determine if there is a BIOS update available.

Download the BIOS update file and save it to a folder on your computer. The easiest way to place the file on the desktop instead.

Copy the file from the desktop to the USB drive. To do this, right-click the file and select "Copy" from the context menu.

Navigate to the "Start" menu and select "Computer." Double-click on the drive letter of your USB drive.

Paste the file to the USB drive by right clicking on the file and selecting "Paste" from the popup menu.

Run the file on your computer you need to have the updated BIOS, double-click the file from the USB drive to start the update process.
