I read all the other questions of "not enough storage space available," but no solution works for me.

I Samsung Galaxy S3 (GT-I9300). I have 5 GB of free space on the internal memory. A couple of days WhatsApp and Viber has been made (in the Application Manager, instead of WhatsApp saw com.whatsapp .. same for viber - I saw the name of the package and the two applications the size is 0)

I tried the following solutions:

  • Clear the cache of google play store, services, and also delete the application updates.
  • I have root access and delete com.whatsapp-2 folder / data / app-lib as described in XDA
  • partiotion cache wipe through recovery
  • clear the Dalvik cache
  • Manually download the apk whatsapp.com and not from Google Play
  • WhatsApp backup and restore from another device with titanium backup device -same my mistake ...
  • change the default installation location with pm set-install-location at 0, 1 and 2. none worked.
  • Cache removed all other applications on the device.
  • I can install any other applications from the store Play store, Viber and WhatsApp just makes the "not enough storage space available" error.

I do not want to do factory reset. Can you help me and suggest another solution, please?

Maybe I should try to install or update the application with the APK you just downloaded from a mirror with adb and then you should know if any package installer is having problems. Samsung devices have always given me some problems with respect to storage problems. If that fails can try the old fashioned way some noob installing some cleaning application and see if it can solve any problem cache
